Jama Masjid in Ahmedabad, Gujarat dates back to the 15th century, which
in itself is magnificent. The mosque was built during Ahmed Shah’s reign
and was one of the largest ones built during that period in the
country. The mosque has the tombs of Ahmed Shah, his wives, his son and
grandson. Walking through the deserted corridors of the mosque take you
to the old times, during the rule of the kings and the queens. The
structure is well preserved and definitely qualifies as one of the most
beautiful places in India.
