Gurez Valley is a largely unexplored part of Kashmir, partly due to it
being a sensitive region. It is located very close to the Line of
Control and hence, it is heavily guarded. In fact, it is only recently
that the valley has been opened to tourists. It is a fertile valley with
high mountains on either side. You can feast your eyes here with some
gorgeous greenery and some really close views of the Himalayas. The
